Hello, readers! I am posting this in case you’ve missed the fact that I retired from writing in 2017. While my books are still available as ebooks on multiple platforms, I haven’t published anything new since then and probably won’t for the foreseeable future.

If you’re wondering what I am up to, I have switched my career yet again and I’m now back in manufacturing, which is an industry my family has been in since 1957. While I personally never expected to join the family business (which we sold in 2024), things happen. Turns out, I’m pretty good at understanding industrial processes and leading teams to success. So that’s what I’m doing now…managing people in manufacturing, with an emphasis on leadership.

Funny story…at a recent job, my team learned that I had been a romance writer before joining them as Plant Manager. They looked me up and decided to drop the titles of my books into the discussion during a critical production meeting. How disappointed were they when I failed to notice. Gentlemen! I was focused on what I was doing! Needless to say, it was funny and while I know they were trying to embarrass me (in a “you don’t know me very well” kind of way), I will forever love my time as a romance novelist and I will always enjoy and defend the genre that still gives me so much joy. I am proud of my books, proud of my readers and proud of the women who bring happily ever afters into the world!
